That is because they do not use condensed milk to make this dessert. Know that condensed milk is an integral part of this meal. You will not get the best texture and flavor if you skip condensed milk. That is why we are mentioning the perfect recipe to make peanut butter pie using condensed milk.

Ingredients:

  • Nine full sheets of Graham Crackers
  • ¼ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup of butter (melted)
  • Eight ounces of cream cheese (softened)
  • Eight ounces of Whipped Topping
  • Two tablespoons of peanuts (Chopped)
  • One and a half cups of creamy butter
  • Fourteen ounces of sweetened condensed milk

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Take a high-quality food processor.
  • Pour the graham cracker sheets into the food processor.
  • Pulse the sheets for about some seconds. Make sure you do not make a powder of crackers. You have to form crumbs of the graham crackers.
  • If you do not have a food processor, you can also crush it manually.
  • For manual crushing, take a plastic Ziploc bag and add the graham cracker sheets into the bag.
  • Take a rolling pin and crush the crackers with the help of it.
  • Now take a 9-inch pie plate and add the graham cracker crumbs to the plate.
  • Now add sugar to the pie plate with melted butter.
  • Use a fork and mix all the ingredients. Keep mixing until the crackers become moist.
  • Now press the crumbs on the bottom and the sides of the pie plate to make it form a crust.
  • Place it into the oven and bake it in the oven for a few minutes.
  • You can also chill the crust into the refrigerator for one hour.
  • Now it is time to make the peanut butter pie filling.
  • Take a bowl and add cream cheese to the bowl.
  • Next, add condensed milk and peanut butter to the bowl.
  • Beat the mixture for about three minutes.
  • You can also use an electric mixer.
  • Your peanut butter mixture is ready.
  • Take the whipped topping and fold half of it in the peanut mixture until you can’t see any white streaks.
  • Now add the rest of the whipped topping and fold it again in the mixture.
  • Add this pie filling into the crust. Make sure that the pie looks smooth.
  • Chill for two hours. Garnish some peanuts on the top before serving.
