Ingredients:

  • Two cups or 500 ml of full milk cream
  • One Vanilla Bean (you can also use half a tsp. of Vanilla Paste)
  • Four yolks of egg
  • Two tbsp. or 30-gram Caster Sugar (you can also use white sugar)
  • A quarter or 30-gram of Cornstarch (you can also use Plain Flour)

Directions:

  • Take a pot and turn on the stove on low heat. Now, add milk and vanilla bean to the utensil. You can also use vanilla paste instead of beans. Heat the items on low flame. Let them Place the Milk and Vanilla Bean/Paste in a small pot and heat up on low heat. Leave for five minutes on the heat.
  • After that, take a separate heat-protected bowl. In the bowl, add the egg yolks and sugar. Whisk the sugar and yolk until it becomes foamy. Now, add Cornstarch and whisk again to combine it.
  • Now, pour the warm milk into the mixture of yolk and sugar. After combining, pour the mixture into the pot.
  • You have to keep whisking on low flame until the cream starts to thicken.
  • Now, take a large pan. You can also use a container. Transfer the cream mixture into the pan or container
  • Make sure you cover the container with plastic wrap to secure it.
  • Now place the container in the fridge to cool down.
  • Refrigerate the mixture into the fridge for about two hours or until it cools down.
  • You can keep the prepared mixture in the fridge for up to three days.
  • At the time of use, make sure you whisk the cream to loosen it up.
